The Birthday Party Room

The Bootheel Youth Museum would like to invite you to come celebrate your birthday with us in our Birthday Party Room.

Birthday Parties

$80 for up to 15 children
Adults are free

Birthday Parties include one-hour rental of the Birthday Room and museum admission for the entire day of their party. Birthday Party hosts are responsible for setup and cleaning before and after party.

Museum members receive a $40 dollar credit for their first birthday party booking. (First Birthday is $40)

Theme Parties include: 

• Admission for 15 children and their parents (any kids over the 15 will cost a reduced admission of $5. Two year and younger do not count and there is no charge for any adults)
• Hands on party activity led by BYM staff
• Table covers
• 15 candy bags 
• Clear plastic plates, cups and cutlery
• Two hour theater rental 

Theme Party times available:

Saturday: 10:30am - 12:30pm

Sunday: 1:30pm - 3:30pm

Builder Bash

With the help of museum staff, the children will make a bird house from a gourd. Party props include 15 plastic construction helmets, safety goggles, and work gear will be provided for the activity.

Royal Celebration 

Become a princess or knight for the day. Young guests will complete a hands-on activity with the help of a Princess or Knight. Party favors include a special tiara or crown for the birthdaygirl or boy and crowns 15 crowns for their royal guests. Royal apparel and throne will be supplied for birhtday girl or boy to be used during the party.

Rock Star Jamboree

Belt out a tune on stage under the lights with live karaoke. Favors include 15 sunglasses and rockstar gear will be provided to be used during the party for the children. Not a singer? Consider turning this theme into a comedy club party. We will provide some jokes.

Mad Scientist Fest

Join the museum's "Mad Scientist" for a hands-on science experience. Children will be suited up in lab coats and safety glasses. 15 pairs of geek glasses will be provided as party favors.

Yo Ho Ho Swashbuckler 

Be a pirate for a day and hunt for treasure throughout the museum. The guest of honor will be outfitted with a pirate hat and 15 bandanas and eye pathes will be provided as favors.

(After-hours parties are $250.00 for 2 hours)
